Day 29- Week 5 The beginning of the conclusion (also a picture dump)

9 days of radiation to go. Single digits. Can y’all believe that? 5 days of chemo! I’m so close to end of treatment. I will still be seen for several weeks beyond treatment because radiation is cumulative and stays with me for awhile. FYI

Today was long start to finish. We started at 9am and were home by 5pm. Labs, chemo doc, chemo infusion, radiation, radiation docs, and skin care. Everything looks good. My best friend Mr chemo pump is back with me for the next 96 hrs. We’ve also traded Tramadol for one of the more powerful ‘oxy’s’. This warrior girl can power through an awful lot but loss of sleep consistently due to pain is not one of them. My eyes were closed for a good portion of appointments including chemo. They make those rooms pretty cozy and then throw in warmed blankets, forget it- zzzzzzzz.
