Not much to report. Managing side effects. Skin looks better this week than last. All that extra skin care with the nurses paid off. That will continue this week after radiation as well. I see Dr E Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays now. This week should be uneventful and I should ‘cruise’ through. Gearing up to add chemo next week Monday-Friday. Resting up now for what is to come. The storm is on it’s way. Building. Growing strong. I have to be stronger. Prepared. Rested. Side effects from radiation will collide with side effects from chemo as I become the storm and once and for ALL kill all remaining cancer cells. A storm that will likely wreck my body as it rids the cancer. Everything I have will need to awaken and show up to fight. Every cell. As I become the storm. My tumor is already so much smaller from the 1st 3 weeks, especially after the week of radiation and chemo together, that I look forward to it melting completely away after the treatments are combined once again. Pain control is everything. It’s now part of the armor. An essential layer. Prepare yourselves my tribe. Rest up. Thunder is rolling in the distance. It’s on its way…
I will throw lightening bolts!
